DESCRIPTION:

A large part of this footbridge is supported on the eastern wall of the large temple of Aphrodite and Phoenician Astarte (Temple 1). Through this opening on the floor of the footbridge, you can see part of the temple wall. The square notches on the upper surface of the stone are slots for the pieces of metal that once joined the stones of the wall to each other.
