DESCRIPTION:

Resistivity measurements of the soil were carried out in 1976 before excavations were resumed. The results were verified by excavated soundings, which revealed that the village did not extend more than 8 to 15 meters beyond the previously excavated area.

Excavations carried out since 1977 showed that the outline of the border was modified during the history of the village: uphill and on the southern slope, the village extended westwards, and a new surrounding wall was built.
