DESCRIPTION:
Along the paved street are the remains of a long portico in the Doric order, which extends from the Kourion Gate up to the Pafos Gate.
The South Building is located behind the portico. It consisted of five rooms that were accessible through the portico and were separated from each other by corridors. Each room had raised platforms on three of its sides, divided from the central paved area by Doric colonnades.
The inscription, set in the facade over one of the doors, indicates that two of the rooms were constructed during the reign of the emperor Trajan in AD 101.
